Through an extensive search and vetting process, each year Trident Communications awards a scholarship to a uniquely qualified individual to serve as a CEO protege – learning, for that year’s duration, the function and tenets of leadership, organizational development, management, marketing, and project coordination. This year’s award recipient is William Meza. Meza shall have all costs of program participation covered by Trident Communications, and will be provided project development and control assistance, while earning full pay and commission for all project work tasks and responsibilities. Unlike traditional internships, the Trident Communications CEO mentor-protege program fully pays the award recipient as described, and positions the protege for future multi-industry technical and business development.
Meza, born in El Salvador, emigrated to the USA in 2001. A scholarship recipient to Drexel University, Meza in 2011 began his post-academic career in the hospitality industry, quickly working his way through promotion and greater responsibility at various Five-Star properties in Beverly Hills and Santa Monica, while concurrently pursuing his passion of photography, film-making, and story-telling. He founded RedEyedWolfMedia in 2012 and since has fine-tuned his passion (and experience) to have developed and secured a $2.5 million project – sold to Lifetime Movies – and is currently, with his team from the Los Angeles Film School, working on three additional project deals. Trident Communications is pleased to work with Meza and support his continuing growth and success.
